I then extruded that circle and sketched another circle with a .5 diameter on top of the first circle.
I extruded the smaller one to create a hole all the way through the cylinder.
I sketched the base of the widget off of the cylinder I had just created, making sure everything was to scale with each other. I initially had this base part too short, but corrected it after I saw what happened. I then extruded it to make the second part of the widget.
I sketched the hole on top of the base section using two lines and two arcs. I then extruded this.

Milling the Widget
After saving the G-Code onto a flash drive, it needs to be uploaded onto the computer.
Put the double-sided tape on the bottom of the foam piece, and press down really hard so it won't slip. Use the computer to orientate the bit over the origin, then close the doors and hit start.
